D. Video surveillance: 

Video surveillance is carried out exclusively in exterior areas (entrances and outdoor areas) of our villas and not inside living spaces. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with § 4 BDSG, reflecting our legitimate interest in protecting property, guests, staff, and preventing criminal activity.

Recorded footage is stored securely and deleted after a short retention period unless required for the investigation of a specific incident.

4. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• To manage bookings and provide accommodation
• To verify identity and comply with legal obligations
• To communicate booking details and customer support
• To process payments and refunds

When booking via Airbnb or Booking.com, FeWo, these platforms share booking information with us. Likewise, we may share guest details with them (e.g., check-in status, issue resolution).

• Property Managers & Maintenance Services (e.g., housekeeping, security)
• IT & Hosting Providers (e.g., website hosting, booking systems)

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such transfers take place only on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR.

Data collected by Airbnb, Booking.com, FeWO or payment providers is subject to their own retention policies.
